It's Tuesday and you know what that means.....time for another Midnight Madness sketch challenge! Fall is here and it's great to be making cards with images that remind me of cooler days...well in other parts of the world maybe!!! LOL Not here in Miami where it's still in the mid 80's!!!!

Well I have to admit, I kind of screwed up the sketch this week by printing the image so big that I almost had no space around it to make the sketch properly! I was pushed for time so wasn't able to get another image printed and colored so you will just have to look and pretend you see the actual sketch in this one! This cute image is from Robyn's Fetish digital stamps and more. They have some adorable images over there so you might want to stop by and check their store out!

I colored the image with copics, stitched around the edge and embellished with some ribbon and rafia. Added some foam sunflowers and Fall leaf from Michael's and a little pin with glass beads. That's it!

MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC76)

Happy Tuesday folks!

I want to begin today's post by letting you all know that my computer was hacked into so I've spent a good day or two trying to correct this situation. I'm hoping that no one else has been affected, especially those of you whom I've left comments for!

Now I need to introduce yet another fabulous lady who is our newest Guest Designer Denise Pettingil. We are excited to have you with us and I know you will blow us away with your beautiful creations!

DOODLE DRAGON TURKEY DAY!

It's Friday Folks and time for some new releases over at Dustin's place! I can't believe we are into Thanksgiving images already! But who wouldn't love these cuties! My card this week is made using one of D'Amour Allure's sweet images called Annebelle. I had fun making this card and coloring Annebelle in copics and prismacolored pencils. For the background dp I used this light green and brown vintage paper from DCWV Be Mine Stack. Flowers are from Prima, corner embellishment and swirls were made using Sizzix dies and the little mouse clear dome shaped embellishment is from Michael's.

MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC 74)

It's time for Midnight Madness again and I feel like I am getting more disorganized than ever! Is it me or are you feeling the same way? Maybe it's the time of year, too many things to do and not enough time to take care of them!! I've had Thijs home since yesterday with a pretty high fever, so I haven't had much sleep over the last couple of nights and it's beginning to catch up with me! Somehow the extra coffee isn't working either! Needless to say, this will be a pretty short post today!

My card this week is made with Shawne's "bird on a frail branch" image which I have used before and will definately use again. I just love this quote so much!  Behind the quote is another of Shawne's images called "Breezy Blue Bird background" which has the same birds and swirls on it!

DOODLE DRAGON CHALLENGE #20

Hello everyone!

Just a quick post to let you know that today is Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge #20. This week we would like to see masculine projects, and it doesn't have to be a card, it can be anything you like. I chose to make a Birthday card for my FIL's upcoming birthday!  I used an older image from Dustin which I've had colored for a while already. I love this bug and it was fun to use. I colored it in copics then popped the eyes and wings up with foam dots to really make them stand out...the photo doesn't show it too well.

On the inside I used another Dustin image, the cheeky monkey who I also colored in copics and couldn't help but put a few captions inside the card. I may end up eating those captions though as my FIL doesn't always take my jokes in the way they are intended! It's probably the "let your hair down" one that won't be appreciated!!! He doesn't have much hair! LOL

GUEST DESIGNER OVER AT CRAFTING LIFES PIECES!

Today I'm so excited....a while ago I was asked by the Mega talented Chelsea to be a guest designer over for October over at Crafting Life's Pieces!! Whoo hoo! I hope that I have done justice to CLP's fabulously talented team and to Chelsea's beautiful sketch!  

I had a special card to make for a lovely English couple who are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary so I decided to make a card using this adorable Magnolia couple. I colored it in copics and added some stitching to the image. There's lots of lace and pretty flowers on it with the addition of a silver heart charm. 

DP is from Tim Holtz, flowers from Prima, pearls from Michael's, lace from JoAnn fabrics.
