Good morning Midnight Madness followers!
I hope you all enjoyed a very Happy Easter and played along with some Easter egg hunts as I did! My son is still hiding plastic eggs around the house for us to find so he's continuing the fun and will probably drag this on for a while longer!! It's all in good spirits though and we've had lots of laughs. We also got to go out on our boat this weekend which was so nice and long overdue. It's wonderful to be able to get away from the busy schedules and just enjoy the ocean and sunshine, if only for a day!
Over at Midnight Madness we have another sketch for you to play along with, so choose fancy or case.
Our congratulations to all the winners this week

My card this week was made using one of Shawne's images from Studio313 called Elegant Lillies and although it's not my usual colors, I actually like the way it turned out. I colored the images in copics and prismacolored pencils and my accessories are all from JoAnn's and Michael's.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the lovely comments. Please don't forget to stop by my DT sisters blogs to leave them some love too!

Happy Sunday everyone!
Did you all get to join in the blog hop over at Dustin's place on Thursday? Weren't there some absolutely fabulous creations to see! WOW, the DT outdid themselves. Dustin has been drawing like mad lately and keeping us very busy. The only problem is trying to choose which images to use as they are all so damn cute! I found myself printing off all the hippos and coloring them in, and a couple of monkey's and I haven't even started coloring the Dudley images or monsters for that matter! But when Dustin's on a roll we don't want to stop him! The DT love it! Keeps us on our toes! Te he!
The challenge this week is to create a card or project using the colors from Dustin's blog. I chose the green and brown for my card and had fun with this one. I love how it turned out.
The sweet bear feeding his little fish is so cute isn't it! You can find this image called "Bear Feed" and lots more HERE at Dustin's shop!
Thanks for stopping by today! I will be posting some more of Dustin's images soon, so hope to see you back here!

I couldn't resist playing with some more of his monkey's from the Monkey Travel collection. Aren't they the cutest! This time I chose the Netherlands and Italian monkey's to create cards with but I'm sure I'll be making more with the other countries too!

I'm keeping my post short today so you can hop on over to the BLOG HOP and join in the fun for a chance to win some awesome prizes!!

For my project this week I decided to make a special gift box for my sister as her birthday was April 17th,  hope she likes it. I actually reused a perfume box that someone gave me (they gave me the box not the perfume!!!! LOL) and made it look pretty using one of Sugar Creek Hollow's digi's for the month of April.
I covered the box with DCWV Sweet stack dp and satin ribbon from Michael's.
The lace and metal buckle are from JoAnn's
Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments, they are so appreciated. Don't forget to join in the fun with us at Midnight Madness.

Happy Saturday!
I was supposed to have this one posted yesterday but didn't have the chance to get it here as we were having our internet issues resolved and new cable lines installed. The good news is that so far my computer is letting me into blog land much faster so I'm hoping it will stay that way!
This card was made for the Studio313 Challenge which was Earth Day/Trash Art. The bunny image is available from Shawne at Studio313 and is colored in copics and glitter pens. My background dp is all recycled paper, the image of the pebbles is from a Gaiam magazine, the bow is from a scrap piece of crepe paper and the button is one I found.
If you have some stuff laying around the house that might look good on a project we'd love to see what you can come up with! Enter your projects HERE
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will join in the fun!
Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Folks,
How are you all doing today? I can't believe we are in the second week of April already and time is just flying by so quickly these days, don't you think? I've been busy with my sons activities the last few days and realised that in just 7 weeks his school year will be over! It doesn't seem that long ago that he was just getting ready to start first grade. Now he'll be getting ready for the SAT exams, which are coming up in a few weeks, then the end of year party and off for the summer! Phew, so many things to organize before that happens!! LOL
Over at Midnight Madness we are on sketch 99!!! Whooo hoo, how awesome is that to have almost 100 sketches under your belt!
This weeks sketch...it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between.
Just have fun and come play with us :)

Month End Prize is a $100 Gift Certificate Wow!!
Thank you Shawne
My card this week is using one of Shawne's adorable images. I've used this one before and will definately use it again as I just love it! I colored her in prismacolored pencils and copics. I added glittery green to the grass to give a little sparkle, added some bling and a couple of butterflies and a flower charm.
The stitching effect around the image was supposed to be real stitching but after not paying attention to the bobbin in the bottom of my sewing machine, I ended up with just the holes and no thread!!!! Oops. I like the effect though!
Here's a closeup of one of the ribbons with butterfly and charm.
This closeup shows the other ribbon and lace and of course this pretty butterfly!
I hope you will come along and play with us and join in the fun with the MM girls. Please take the time to stop by my DT sisters and leave them some love!
Have a fabulous day!

Whoo hoo it's Sunday and time for another Doodle Dragon Studios challenge! As this is Dustin's blogaversary month, this weeks challenge is to make a "Birthday" card or project using one or more of Dustin's fabby images! I kind of got carried away again and colored three of Dustin's fun critters! The two bears are from his newest release from April 7th, found HERE, (this set is for 10 Mother's day images plus 3 Mum images) and the dragon is from a collection you can find HERE! 14 images for just $3.00!!!!
All images were colored in copics with the edges sponged with Martha Stewart inks. Some ribbon embellishments and a few little pearl gems from Micheal's and voila, a few simple and pretty quick cards!
I hope you'll take the time to stop by my DT sister's blogs to leave them some love and check out their totally awesome creations. Don't forget to join in the fun with us and if you are new to Dustin's images you won't be disappointed, they are so much fun to work with, plus he has more super exciting images that you don't want to miss! Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful, fun day!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I'm out on a field trip to the zoo today with my son and his class but over at Dustin's place he has a new release of Mom's or Mum's (depending on which part of the planet you are in) digi's. They are just adorable these sweet little bears and I actually got carried away with this set and colored quite a few of the images. I think it was the combination of some new copics and some super cute images!! LOL So you'll need to stay tuned to catch the other ones I made. I'm still practicing my coloring with Copics but have some great inspiration from my DT sisters, and if you haven't checked their stuff out, whatcha waiting for? They are amazing!
Here's the Mom's digi set from Dustin's site
The two cards I'm showcasing today are using the images called "for Mom" and "Flowers." I loved these images as they reminded me of something my son would do for me.
Well, I'm going to sign off now and let you all go and grab these fun images and check out the rest of my DT sisters work too over on Dustin's blog. Don't forget to check back here for more bears in upcoming posts!
Have fun with these images!
Enjoy your day!

Hello everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend with lots of fun filled days! I've been just a little frustrated lately with my computer issues not allowing me to get into the blogging world when I want to but I'm hoping by the end of next week those hassles will be behind me! My DH tried to get more speed added to the computer only to be told that the area we live in doesn't have the capabilities to receive the faster connections! Go figure! Anyway, after lots of research it seems we will have to go with another carrier who will run some new lines and hopefully (fingers crossed) we will have super speed and less problems! I sure hope so! There's nothing worse than waiting 5 minutes for someones blog to open then not being able to see the project photos in order to leave comments! Very frustrating! Anywho....enough of that and onto the important stuff....over at Midnight Madness this week we have a lovely sketch to work with!
This weeks sketch...it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between.

Just have fun and come play with us :)

For my card this week I used this sweet image from Stamp and Create called Angelica! Colored her in copics and stickles and the gold stars were colored with glitter pens that my sister sent to me for my birthday. I sponged the edges to soften the border then layered the card with 6 layers. The embossing on the background dp was done with two different embossing folders and the corner treatments were done using sizzix dies.
The flowers are from Prima and gems too.
I have to say that this is one of my all time favorite sketches, probably because I do symmetrical designs better than anything else! I love how this one turned out!
Please don't forget to check out my DT sisters work over on the Midnight Madness blog.
