MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC 73)

Happy Tuesday Folks,
How are things going with you all? Did you all have a great weekend and get some crafting done? I sure hope so! My weekend didn't work out the way I had hoped. I was looking forward to my DH having the whole weekend off but that didn't happen :( He worked 11 days straight with no time off as his parents were on vacation, but he ended up working on Sunday too! So much for family time together!!!
OK enough complaining, onto more exciting things....Midnight Madness to be precise!
Congratulations to all our winners this week
Our Sponsors this week are Paper Works Co.
Our Monthly Sponsor is Sunshine and Giggles
My card this week is made with an adorable turtle stamp called Tommy the Turtle from Paper Works Co.  the Aqua Amigos set. Isn't he cute! I colored him in copics then added some paper glaze to his shell to give it a little shine. DP is DCWV, flowers are from Prima and butterfly is from a Martha Stewart punch. Copper plate is from Michael's.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed seeing my little turtle!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Charlotte

MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC72)

Happy Tuesday Folks!
It's time for another Midnight Madness....are you ready? I had fun with this weeks sketch and the image too, and today it almost felt a little bit like the Fall here, even though it was in the 80's, there was definately less humidity than the last few weeks! Unfortunately it's not supposed to last so until the end of October I guess I'll have to endure the heat....boo hoo! Just so you all know I've had some computer issues lately, not sure what's going on but my Yahoo account was messed up, couldn't get into it even after changing the password two different times. So if anyone gets something from "me" that seems off the wall, please ignore it as I'm not sure if the account was hacked into!
OK now before we get to this weeks winners I have to say what AMAZING cards you all made this week, so many beautiful creations......I think everyone loved the big flower thing!!!!
Last but by no means least....a Huge Welcome back to Priscilla and Carol....hope you ladies had a fabulous cruise...we missed you both!
Congratulations everyone

For my card this week I used "The Good Witch" from Sunshine and Giggles, isn't she cute! I love the way she's sitting on her carved pumpkin with the little cat behind her. I had so much fun creating with this one, I tell you! I will definately use her again.
I colored her in copics, layered the image on foam dots and chalked the circle edges. The yellow circle is embossed using a Swiss dots folder. Background dp is from DCWV Autumn Splendor stack. I punched the edges of the green dp using one of Martha Stewarts punches, well it actually belongs to me but you know what I mean!!! LOL Flowers are from Prima, black gems from Micheal's and ribbon from my stash.
Here's a closeup of that adorable little witch again!!
Thanks for stopping by, oh and don't forget to check out my other DT sisters blogs!!
Hugs for a great week,

MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC71)

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Did you all have a good weekend? We did! We went to an environmental center by our house and walked through short trails looking at all the fauna and flora around then fed the turtles and fish in the lake over there. It's amazing how sometimes the simple, free things in life are what make a little one enjoy his day! We came away with lots of pretty photos and a new tree!
So are you ready for another Midnight Madness sketch? I enjoyed this one, probably because I was excited about using one of Priscilla's images especially this beautiful sunflower.
Congratulations to our winners this week

My card this week was using Priscilla's sunflower and I love the way it turned out. I colored the image in prismacolored pencils then cut a few leaves out and popped them up on dots to give a little dimension. I added some brown stickles to the center of the flower and covered the whole flower with glaze to give it some shine.
The dp I used is from DCWV Autumn Splendor stack. Ribbon is from Michael's and gems and flowers too. The label was made using sizzix Tags, scallop combo #2.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC70)

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Hope you all did something fun, for those of you who celebrated Labor Day here in the USA, I sure hope the weather was good to you for those BBQ's and celebrations. My little one was off school Friday and Monday so it was a four day weekend for us! Now I'm trying to figure out what day it is!!! LOL
Here at Midnight Madness two of our lovely ladies will be sailing the high seas this week, so let's wish Priscilla and Carol a really fantastic time over in the Bahamas! Also any of the MM fans who will be setting sail with them I hope you all have a blast! It's been years since I've been to the Bahamas so I'm sure much has changed over there, but I loved it when I went so I'm positive they will have a great time.
OK, now down to business, Congratulations to all our winners...

My card this week is a little unusual for me as I don't think I've done many bird images before, but I've had this stamp for a while now and figured perhaps I should ink it up and create something with it! I was actually nervous about coloring it all wrong so I went to a web site to try to find photos of birds to help me out! I'm sure you will all let me know if my coloring of the image is really off!!! LOL
The dp I used is from a wonderful stack of old world, vintage style paper from K & Co. called Life's Journey and I love all the patterns they have there. The bird image is one of 4 from Martha Stewart called Clear Bird stamps. Pearls are from Michael's and the stickles I added for extra sparkle are Cotton Candy. Flowers also from Michael's by Prima.
I colored my image in prismacolored pencils and copics, chalked the edges of all dp to give a little vintage feel to the whole card.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to stop by my DT sister's blogs to check out their gorgeous creations.
Have a lovely day!

DOODLE DRAGON CHALLENGE #18

HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND!
I hope whatever you are up to this weekend that you have fun and stay safe. We are laying low and not going anywhere other than to my in-laws to hang out by the pool as the weather is a wonderful 84 degrees and sunny! Yesterday we went to a car show where DH was able to hang out in his 1964 Chevy Nova and display it proudly! Unfortunately the evening was cut short due to rain and when you are driving a car with no wipers and slick tires, well it's time to leave before the heavy rains come down! LOL We had fun though!
Over at Doodle Dragon Studios this week there is a fun challenge Fancy Folds, and if you stop by the blog you will see that all the DT had fun with this challenge! I didn't upload my card in time as I am so off with my days lately, I thought today was Saturday and I still had time to get mine into the site before it went live!! Oh well, next time I will make sure that I actually get it in on time! The card was finished early in the week too!
I chose to do a cross over card and had fun with it.
I chose one of Dustin's adorable little dragons in the bathtub and colored it with copics. Of course I took photos before the gloss was put on all the water and bubbles...my brains not cooperating with me at all this week....I'll blame it on my cold and headache! Anywhoo, I hope you like my little creation as I had a good time putting it together. Don't forget to stop by the DDS blog to check out my DT sisters creations and to stop by Dustin's blog to see what he's been up to lately, and on CDAC as Dustin is over there too!
Have a wonderful Labor day!
Hugs,
Charlotte
