Happy Tuesday everyone,
Sorry I have been MIA since last week, but I have been trying to get life in order!!! My sweet little boy has to have surgery next week, then it's his birthday the following week so I feel like I'm being pulled in different directions with different emotions. My hubby decided to put wood floor in part of our house, so I ended up with a project that I didn't really need this week....re painting the walls.....ahhhhh.....needless to say my mind is absolutely not on making cards right now! Hopefully you are more ready than I am! Onto the MM stuff....congrats to all our winners this week
Our Masterpiece Award goes to #48 Vicki
Our Remarkables Awards go to

I would like to say Thank you to our sponsor this week Sunshine and Giggles for sending out some cute digi images and stamps to the DT to use on our cards. Please check out Priscilla's blog to read all about Janice and Sunshine and Giggles. Our monthly sponsor for March is non other than the fabulous Priscilla, from Priscillastyles, so you will want to join in the fun and check out the designer envelopes the DT will be making with Priscilla's envelope kits.
My card this week is using one of Sunshine and Giggles digi images which I colored in copics. I decided to cut the little donkey and girl out and pop them up on foam squares to give a little more dimension to them. I enjoyed playing around with this sketch, especially all those butterflies! Lots of cutting out but I'm happy with the end result. Unfortunately I can't take credit for that pretty tree...I believe it was from Jolies.
This post is short as I'm not focusing well right now. Hopefully by next week things will be back to normal!
I wish you all a very happy week!
Hugs,
Charlotte

So pretty, pretty, pretty. I love the tiny roses. I used some this week too. Your special stitching is outstanding too. Lots of lovely details.
ReplyDeleteI hope that your little boy gets through his surgery and heals very quickly, and that his Mommy can get through it well too. I've been there many times. I do know how you feel. My prayers will be with you. I hope he has a wonderful birthday after all that, and I am certain that your new wood flooring will be just beautiful.

Oh Charlotte! My heart just aches for you. You have so many things going on, and I know it must be truly overwhelming. Remember this? "Breathe in, Breath out" ... I hope that got a little giggle out of you .. you wrote that to me when we were going a little crazy over the mix-up thingy? LOL! I just wanted to try to put a little smile on your lips. :) I wish I were there to give you a huge hug and tell you that things will be alright. It will be Sweet Charlotte. :)
