Howdy folks!
Are you ready for another Pike's Playground challenge? This one should be a fun one as we are asking you to make something with a Dustin image with the challenge "My life is a zoo!" Let's see how creative you can get with this one! I decided to use Dustin's cupcake monkey which I've had printed up for a while already and as many people make the New Year's resolution to lose weight I thought this would be a fun card with those perfect images. Te he!
I've made another card with this Z-fold design which you can find at Beccy's Place and I have to say I love how it turned out.
This is the first cupcake monkey image, you see the cupcake complete and the monkey seems so excited to see it.
The second image shows little monkey with fat cheeks after munching on the cupcake!
and finally little monkey feeling awfully full after finishing off a good portion of the cupcake! I'm sure we've all felt like that at some point of time, right!
I colored the images with copics, used some paper glaze to give shine to the icing on the top. The dp is from Making Memories Simply Fabulous Maddi Narrow Stripe and Maddi Paisley. Ribbon is from Micheal's and little gems from JoAnn's Fabrics.
I hope you'll come along and play with us this challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Charlotte

Charlotte, these monkeys are absolutely adorable and putting them in a card about breaking New Year's resolutions was such a great idea. I'm glad I stumbled onto your site to see it. It made me think of a great birthday card idea using these images but I can't see to find them anywhere to purchase. I looked on Dustin's site, but I don't see them there either. Any idea on where I might find these 3 images? Thanks ahead of time for the info!
