It's April already!
You know I wanted to start this post by telling you something naughty about Midnight Madness not doing sketch challenges anymore, just as an April fools, but then with April fool's being just for one day I figured I'd behave and tell you it's time for another sketch challenge instead!
This weeks sketch is a good one and for anyone who loves tags then this is a perfect sketch for you!
I have a very special image on my card which was drawn by my son's art teacher, Lori Nadaskay! If you like her images you can check her etsy site out HERE. She has some really pretty flowers, contemporary artwork and some lovely, cute little critters too! Lori has a special going on right now that if you purchase one digi, then email her the photo of what you create with it, she'll give you another digi image for equal or lesser value for free! That's a great deal if you ask me! You can also check her out on facebook too!
My project was actually made from a paper bag which I folded half way up and made into a pocket which holds the tag and could also fit a gift card for a special someone. The image is colored with copics, decorated edge and butterfly were done with Martha Stewart punches, flourishes completed using ink and a stencil from Layers of Color, flowers and lace were from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop on over at Midnight Madness and join in with the sketch challenge this month...just remember you have the entire month to play!
Have a wonderful day!
