It's good sometimes to kick back and relax!!Lots of exciting things happening over at the Midnight Madness site, so please check out all the details over there. We have some fun things planned for the rest of the year too so stay tuned with us.

Now onto my card! I would have loved to make this an oval as the sketch was drawn but as I don't have an oval nestie, I had to settle on a circle one!!! This pretty image is one from DRS Designs and of course being English and loving tea, I just had to have this stamp!!! I colored it in prismacolored pencils then layered it with pop dots and glazed it over with paper glaze to give it that ceramic feel. Paper is from K & Co. called Gyspy Baby, ribbons are from Anna Griffin, flowers and teapot button are from Joann's, and gems are from my stash. I really like the colors on this one and I hope you like them too!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave me comments, they are so appreciated!
Enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Charlotte

Beautiful card! I love the little teapot that you added to the ribbon!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, I really love tea themed cards. Here in Camden County Georgia I am well known for several tea parties I have hosted at my home. There's something special about dressing up in vintage clothing and sharing tea and treats with friends. I usually read poetry as well and we play games...such fun! I was thinking how beautiful this would be for a tea party invitation. I love everything about this. Just wonderful. I think you have inspired me to throw another tea party....lol
