OK so now for the really fun stuff.....how do you like the look of this logo? How would you like to go on a cruise and meet some of the Midnight Madness DT, card making on board anyone? There is a fabulous deal on the prices, so click here to go to Priscilla's blog and check out all the details! You won't want to miss this opportunity! There is blog candy too, so sail on over there and check that out.
Now to my card this week. I decided to use a vintage image I have had for a while, I just love this sweet picture of mother and daughter together. I think I'm addicted to the easel cards as this is another one. Good thing I have Priscilla's envelope kit to make the thicker envelope!
I layered the image several times to give some depth to it, made the mother's dress sparkle with stickles, added a string of pink sequins around the picture and a couple of flowers, a pin with beads and a Love dimensional sticker to the lower part of the card and voila...that's all there is to it! Plus some dry embossing and stitching!

You can see the thickness of the card which easily fits into the box style envelope from Priscilla's store. I stitched the back of the envelope flaps and decorated the front with more stitching and rose stickers.

  7. Charlotte this is wonderful! I've tried making an easel card to no avail yet... I tried cutting the right measurements 3 times one day and got them all wrong. LOL! It can't be that hard, but my brain wasn't functioning properly that day for some weird reason. I'll have to try again soon because you make it look so easy and your details here are so pretty. :) Michelle
