My card was created with Shelly's image called "close to my heart". Isn't it just beautiful!
I have to say that I wasn't sure if I could do justice to this sweet image when I got it, but now it's finished I'm actually really happy with how it turned out! I loved coloring it even though I wasn't sure of the colors to use initially but once I got playing with my copics, it all just came together so nicely. I've always been a bit intimidated by horses so it was a little challenge for me to create with it!! LOL I think they are beautiful animals but I've only been riding one time and that was a scary experience....in the mountains of Colombia of all places. Anyway, I was told that I had the most docile horse out of everyone but then she decided to take off with me in tow, through the steep mountains with my fear of heights!!! I was terrified to pull the reins too hard (as I'd been instructed to not do that) and I didn't want the horse to rear up and me fall off the back, but I couldn't get the horse to stop. Eventually the guys came to my rescue and I was left feeling like a complete idiot!!! Anyway, enough of my wandering horse experience! Here's a couple of close ups of the flowers and little Joy sign.
dp is from DCWV - Once Upon a Time stack, flowers are from Prima and sticker signs are from Micheal's.
The corner edges were made with Sizzix sizzlits Architectural Accents set.

Great card Charlotte! I think we have acoomen feeling about horses. They are beautiful, but I do prefer them on tha distance :)

Hello Charlotte - what a gorgeous card! I love your beautifully coloured image - it is divine! I had to smile at your story - I was brought up with animals - my Dad was an International Livestock Controller and horses were part of our lives - even had one BUT I was not that sure sround it....so can identify with you! LOL! Gorgeous details - I always love to come and see you - you inspire me on so many levels my friend - thank you! {{{hugs}}}
