I feel like I've spent so little time in blogland lately, what with the holidays approaching, it seems like I'm trying to get too many other things organized and my blog is taking a back seat unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to dedicate a little more time in the New Year!

PAPER AND PIXELS MAGAZINE PUBLICATION

Good Morning!

I wanted to share this set I made a while ago for an online magazine called Paper and Pixels. Dustin Pike had a great article on there and asked some of the DT to create something using his images. So of course, as Dustin was published so were the team members who participated, and I was lucky enough to be one of them.  

I chose a couple of Dustin's adorable penguins from his 100 days of Christmas line to use on my projects. I made an easel card with matching envelope and decorated a paper bag to be used for a Christmas gift. I really enjoyed making this set and hope you like how it turned out.

Are you all ready for Thanksgiving day? Do you have special plans with family and friends? I'm looking forward to having my little one off from school for 5 days and to spending Thanksgiving with our good friends. For my card this week I used one of Dustin's adorable Turkey's from last year which is pre-colored (see I told you I rushed this one!!). The pumpkin and pie are also from Dustin.

DOODLE DRAGON STUDIOS - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE

It's time to play Dustin's way! Over at Dustin's playground today the challenge is an easy one and will help you get your Christmas cards done this year....well at least one of them! The challenge is to make Anything Christmas! Easy right! I decided to make a gift card set using two of Dustin's images from his 100 days of Christmas set which you can find HERE.  

My card is using image #33 and the gift card is with image #30. Both are colored in copics with the addition of stickles some snowflakes (Michael's) and ribbon from my stash.  

I hope you'll join us this week and make something creative for Christmas using Dustin's images and if you want a great deal on the 100 days of Christmas it's only $20.00 for the complete set! Now that's a bargain.

My card this week is designed using one of Priscilla's Christmas images, which I colored in copics and then covered in stickles to give lots of sparkles.

DUSTIN PIKE'S 100 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE!

  Well it's Monday again and the weekends fly by way too fast for me, but at least I had an extra day added on for Veterans Day weekend this time! I took the time off and went with my two boys down to the Florida Keys for some sea air and relaxation time! Now that I'm back I have a bunch of things to catch up on...yikes! 

Over at Dustin's place, he is showing off his 100 Days of Christmas this week and you might want to run over there and get this fabulous deal he's got going on before it's too late.... 100 images for $20.00! MIDNIGHT MADNESS (MMSC129)

Hello fellow crafters!
Today I'm not feeling too happy as I write this post. Sometimes I guess we all have bad days and this one is one of those for me. I've had a horrible migraine for the last couple of days and on top of that to learn that the very sweet and talented fellow crafter Katie Emerson Renz passed away yesterday from her tough year long battle with cancer. If you have been following her journey you know she has been such a warrior and wanted so much to beat this disease. My condolences go out to her entire family at this very difficult time.

My card this week is all about Winter, unfortunately we aren't lucky enough to have snow here but I just love this skating snowman. It's one of Dustin's cute images which I colored in copics, touched up with stickles and paper glaze.
