Mother's Day Boxed card number 2
Good evening everyone!
Yes I am finally here, and the pictures above are what I have been working on for a good friend of mine.....needless to say, many intricate details involved and time consuming......but my project is finally complete!! Whew! I hope she likes it. The request was for a boxed Mother's day card using the colors peach, brown and minty green. I started with one of my three panel cards and thought, what the heck let's add a few more.....am I a glutten for punishment or what?? Why do I make things more complicated....maybe it's because I like the challenge!!
Anyways, Here is the boxed card set and as you can see each panel is different. I used the gorgeous DCWV dp which I think makes a lovely back drop to work from. I machine stitched some of the panels with a scalloped stitch, used some computer vintage images which I thought appropriate for Mother's day and as my friend has one sister, the two little vintage girls should have perfect meaning for their mom. Other embellishments include flowers from Michael's, gems and metal flower with swarovski crystal.
Card recipe
designer paper - DCWV whimsy
cardstock - Best Occasions
Flowers - Prima Nursery Tales, Michael's
gems - say it in crystals
swarovski crystal bead - jolies
leaves - Martha steward punch
Hope you all enjoy your evening. Will be checking back in sometime over the weekend...hopefully!
Hugs,
Charlotte
