Mojo Monday - Sugar Nellie stamp

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying your day!

Wow, it's been busy here in the de Zwart residence!! First thing this morning the air conditioner stopped working!!! Yikes, in the high 80 degree temps. too!!! Still waiting for the repair man to turn up, they said it would be between 10:00 and 12:00 and it's now 1:00pm so only an hour late!!!

So did you all check out the Midnight Madness Design Teams cards??? I hope so, wow, what amazing talent don't you think! This morning was the first chance we got to view each others work and I was impressed........now I have definately got my work cut out for me after seeing my team mates designs!!! Yikes! It would be lovely if you would join in the fun and send in some of your creations because there are so many talented people out there. I so enjoy looking at your blogs and seeing all the different styles......it gives me inspiration that's for sure.

Ok, now for my card. I colored this image in a while ago and have had her sitting patiently waiting for me to place her somewhere special. So today for the Mojo Monday I figured I would use her and as pale pink is my fav. color I figured I would keep her soft and gentle with the pink and a little touch of green. I colored her in copics and layered her so she stands out from the card. The paper is one of my favorites from making memories. I added leaves and the flowers and of course the machine stitching which I think softens the card. Let me know what you think!

Card Recipe
designer paper - making memories simply fabulous, Brooke paisley and Brooke narrow stripe
Stamp - Sugar Nellie, designer Elisabeth Bell's Demure
Ribbon - Basics from Michael's
Leaves - cut using Martha Stewart punch
Flowers - Prima, Nursery Tales Fancy stix
Gems - Michael's

Enjoy the rest of your day!
Hugs, Charlotte
